According to Indian philosophy, we are tied in the web of debts. ‘Moksha’ can never be attained until one is free from this world of debts. This cycle of death and rebirth will be continued. They visit psychiatrists, depend on medication and drugs for mental happiness. The one and only way to come out of this and lead a contented life is to move closer to God and embrace spirituality.

‘Kokkaranikavu Sankatamochini Durga Devi Temple’ the abode of Devi Durga has a known history of 400 years. Once upon a time, the temple was very prosperous and famous. But later on, the temple lost its early grandeur. A great effort is being taken up by the newly formed Kokkaranikavu Devaswom Trust to restore the temple to its real glory.

The Kokkaranikavu Devaswom Trust requests all devotees to generously contribute and give offerings and donations for the renovation of the temple. This will help in achieving Peace and Salvation — ‘Moksha’, because peace of mind is the greatest glory to man and Sacrifice — ‘Thyaga’ — is the best way to attain it.
